For several years we have been trying to obtain a previewer to allow users of TeX on our CMS system to preview files. The simple solution of a DVItoVDU or the equivalent is not adequate in this case because of the large number of users whose texts contain characters which are not ASCII. Many of the connections to our CMS system are from PC's running MS-Kermit, which has T4010 emulation, so this is what we would like to take advantage of. Some years ago we contacted Don Hosek, who then had `advertised' that he had such a previewer. We have received from him at least two replies to E- and snail mail in the course of the past two years. We have not received either the software or any reliable prediction of when the software might be available. Does anyone know of another source from which we might obtain a T4010 previewer for TeX DVI files which runs on a CMS system? Suggestions will be very gratefully received. A. V.
