[comp.text.tex] Problem running dvips547

I heve just installed dvips547 but there seems to be a problem
when running it.  It would start invoking MakeTeXPK which the old
dvips wouldn't.  It started looking for a file ambx10 but couldn't find
it, then start asking for another filename.  All these did not happen
using the old dvips.  When the old dvips invoked MakeTeXPK there was
no problem in finding appropriate files.

Any hints are appreciated.
