After only two days, I've received 30+ requests to post the PlainTeX source for the PlainTeX beginners manual "TeX Made Easy" so I do plan to post shortly. I live on a VMS VAX so I plan to post using a utility called VMS_SHARE to pack the documentation into 15 files containing 15360 bytes each. VMS_SHARE is VAX DCL commands to unpack and checksum the results so you can be sure the data arrived intact. I do, however, realize I'm posting to a group comp.text.tex that has mostly Unix readers. Therefore, if you want "TeX Made Easy" but don't want me to post it using VMS_SHARE, send me mail (before April 2, 1991). I will not send you a Unix shar file. This is only to see if I should use my own packing utility that will be easier to decypher on non-VMS machines (something I'll need to develope).
