A few days ago someone was asking about drawing in LaTeX. emTeX also includes a program called TeXcad that generates files that can be included in LaTeX's picture environment. It lets you draw lines, circles, boxed text, etc., using your PC's mouse (or cursor keys) and then generates the appropriate picture environment commands.
