Dear (La)TeXers, I am having a difficult time incorporating scientific graphs into my LaTeX document. I am unsatisfied with the presentation quality of the unix plotting packages that we have on site. To date, I have been manually cutting and pasting my Macintosh graphs into my LaTeX document. I would like to hear from those who have had success in implementing *acceptable* graphics into a LaTeX document. I am aware that there has been much discussion here lately on drawing programs, such as xfig. I am not speaking about drawing programs. I am trying to get experimental data onto 2D and 3D plots with legends, symbols, and *decent* fonts on the axis. I have tried to work with psfig, but as of yet, I have failed to obtain the anticipated results. I am placing this request here (instead of a graphics group) to see what success (La)TeX users have had. Please e-mail me your success stories. If there is enough interest, I will post a summary.
