[comp.text.tex] PK files

DA3721A@DRAKE.BITNET (03/12/91)

Is there an ftp location somewhere that has the pk fonts? I'm just getting
into TeX and I need the pk fonts to print stuff out. I have Metafont for
my computer, but it is a terrible memory hog and I apparently don't have
enough memory to run it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The PK files can be ftp'ed from ymir.claremont.edu, labrea.stanford.edu (I
think), msdos.archive.umich.edu (files in emTeX's font library format), and
several other places.
