Though my question is not completely on topic, I think it is nonetheless
of interest to tex-types :-)
My problem is this:
I want to preview a document before printing it but I can't use
dvix because I have included some postscript files into the doc.
I have tried using xps and ghostscript but neither of them work.
What I did was to direct the output from dvi2ps into a file. I then
specify this file as the input to one of the above postscript
previewers.
However, when I do, I get the same error message regardless of which
previewer I use. The error message (from ghostscript) is:
>PostScript Driver, Version 3.13 of January 19, 1988
dvi file name: x.dvi
Pass0: Page 1
Error: /invalidfont in --setfont--
ostack: --nostringval-- --nostringval-- estack: operator
4fd0 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false
--nostringval-- --nostringval-- false --nostringval--
--nostringval--
dstack: 319/401 55/200
Anyone got any ideas what dvi2ps is doing? I get the same error
message if my source file contains only text.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond by e-mail
and I'll summarize.
