As announced in TeXhax Digest (V91 #013) by Peter Flynn, Christine Thiele has
valiantly compiled four files of abstracts for the proceedings of the 1987-1990
TUG meetings. I am pleased to announce that Peter had forwarded me these files
and that they are now available from FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET (FILEserv, **not**
LISTserv). Below is the description file generated by a LIST TUGPROC command
sent to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET.
On a unrelated note, our site was indeed down due to disk and system problems
Sunday and Monday. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but
believe we were able to retrieve all submissions during this period. If you
made a submission to INFO-TeX or requested a file from FILESERV during this
time period and have yet to see it, I ask for your patience and request that

TUGPROC includes abstracts of the proceedings of the TeX Users Group (TUG),
as compiled by Christina Thiele <Christina_Thiele@CARLETON.CA> and provided
by Peter Flynn <CBTS8001@IRUCCVAX.UCC.IE>. Complete source citations are
provided in each abstract.
To retrieve the complete package of abstracts, please include the command:
SENDME TUGPROC
in the body of a MAIL message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET. Alternately, if you
wish to only retrieve a specific file from this package, include the command:
TUGPROC.yyyy
in the body of a MAIL message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET (where "yyyy"
represents the year). Hence, the 1990 abstracts are included in TUGPROC.1990
and the command SENDME TUGPROC.1990 will retrieve this specific file.
FILESERV will handle multiple requests so long as each resides on a unique
line in the body of the MAIL message.
