[comp.text.tex] Karl Berry's MODES available at FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET

bed_gdg@SHSU.BITNET ("George D. Greenwade") (03/21/91)

I needed to retrieve Karl Berry's modes.mf for local use anyway, so I
thought I would make it available on FILESERV as well so that people without
ftp access could easily retrieve it via MAIL. Below is the description file
which a LIST MODES would yield at FILESERV.

As a reminder, if you want a full listing of all packages we have available,
please include the command LIST (or DIRECTORY) in the body of a MAIL message
to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET. If you have a package which can be supported via
mail, please contact me directly and we can discuss putting it up for
access.

Regards, George

                                   MODES
                                   -----
MODES includes Karl Berry, et al.'s mode_def collection modes.mf 0.4.
This file is a collection of Metafont mode_def's (probably close to all
of them). It also makes common definitions for write-white printers and
`special' information.

It is split into a two-part set for immediate transmittal on FILESERV. You
will need to concatenate the two parts in order to recreate the MODES.MF
file on your system.

To receive both of the MODES.MF files required to rebuild this release,
please send the command:
SENDME MODES
in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET. If, for some reason,
you only need one part of this package, say, MODES.MF_1OF2, please MAIL the
command SENDME MODES.MF_1OF2 to FILESERV.
