[comp.text.tex] Amiga:PasTeX and getting fonts to work

gok0840a@ritvax.isc.rit.edu (KULP, GO) (03/22/91)

I have been using PasTeX (being a poor college student) on my
Amiga. I have decided to try to use DVIprint as distributed,
with a Citizen GX140 printer I can get at. I found 360 dpi
fonts, and installed them in a 360 directory in the pk directory.
I then modified fontlibs to reflect all the dpi sizes I had.
Still, though, when I go to print, it tries to find cmbx10 @360
and then goes to get 518.
I am attempting to emulate a Epson LQ with option -d 8
All I get are the main paragraph headings, and those mess up.
DVIprint will print the first pass fine, and then the second pass
the crossbars on t's and the dots on i's get very offset.

Has anyone gotten DVIprint to work with the Citizen GX140?
How do you use FLIB to actually compile a list of fonts available?
(please give an example)
What am I doing wrong?
Finally, can the Citizen emulate the Pinwriter 6/7 that is supported?
