My machine is a Sun3/160 running Sun OS 4.1. I installed TeX3.0, and METAFONT 2.0 already. They work fine. I installed ChTeX (The Chinese TeX package from JBWang). I ran some of the files in the samples directory and then through dvi2ps. The output is the same as the Postscript files that came with the distrubution EXCEPT that each character in the document is rotated to the right 90deg. I don't speak Chinese. I was just asked to install the software. How do I get the individual characters to be rotated back the way they "should" be. Does anyone understand what I'm talking about? Summary: Postscript file that came with distribution prints out ok. My output version of the same file using the "sample/chtext.txt" source file and dvi2ps gives a Postscript file identical to the original EXCEPT that each character is rotated to the right 90deg. Does anyone know what's going on? Any ideas why it would rotate just the Chinese characters and leave the English and math formulae alone? Thanks! -- Jeff Wandling jeff@unicorn.cc.wwu.edu
