I picked up a copy of mf2ps a while back and read the TUGboat article. I looks like a very useful tool, but I don't have a pascal compiler so can't make it here. In the article, the authors admit that they should have made their modifications in the web source, rather than the pascal, and indicate that they intend to "fix" this deficiency. Does anyone know how it's going? Is anyone else working on this? Perhaps, if someone has gotten the program compiled on a sun4, they might be willing to share their binaries...? Thanks very much. -- Chet Wood ~ (408)727-3357 X269 chet@Advansoft.Com . Advansoft Research Corporation arc!chet@apple.COM . 4301 Great America Parkway, 6th floor apple!arc!chet . Perhaps, if someone has gotten > the program compiled on a sun4, they might be willing to share their > binaries...? I picked up mf2ps -- but it doesn't work. I compiled it on a Sun-3 and when I run it, it finds the plain.base file, but claims there is a base file error and exits. I use the plain.base supplied with mf2ps. I'd be more than happy to share binaries -- Sun3 or Sun4 -- if this darn thing would work. It's a cool idea! Does anyone have a fix to this problem?
