I have successfully installed emTeX on my rather limited MS-DOS PC-XT and have little room left for fonts. Could someone tell me which fonts I need for screen previewing documents only? I have no printer, and I'm unsure which fonts I need. Do I need .pk files as well as .fli? Post or send e-mail to address below, if desired. Many Thanks, Bill Lear (rael@ll.mit.edu)

I got a file from a friend of mine who marked the ones one really needs with T and L and the ones that one doesn't need with * try it out. regards, el ------------------cut-here-------------------- From @quagga.ru.ac.za:gram@uctcs.cs.uct.ac.za Tue Mar 26 10:38:19 1991 Return-Path: <@quagga.ru.ac.za:gram@uctcs.cs.uct.ac.za> Received: from quagga.ru.ac.za by hippo.ru.ac.za (4.1/Hippo-02.01) id AA16109; Tue, 26 Mar 91 10:38:18+020 Received: by quagga.ru.ac.za (/\=-/\ Smail3.1.18.1 #18.17) id <m0jL9G2-0000iDC@quagga.ru.ac.za>; Tue, 26 Mar 91 10:19 sat Received: by uctcs.cs.uct.ac.za (smail hacked) id m0jL99G-00009yC; Tue, 26 Mar 91 10:12 SAT Message-Id: <m0jL99G-00009yC@uctcs.cs.uct.ac.za> From: gram@uctcs.cs.uct.ac.za (Graham Wheeler) Subject: TeX font list` To: extel@quagga.ru.ac.za (Dr. Eberhard Lisse) Date: Tue, 26 Mar 91 10:12:56 SAT Cc: MURRAY@Uctvax.UCT.AC.ZA (Mark Murray), ufhx1!cssjs2 (Inus Scheepers) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.2 PL0] Status: OR -- Graham Wheeler <gram@cs.uct.ac.za> | "That which is weak conquers the strong, Data Network Architectures Lab | that which is soft conquers the hard. Dept. of Computer Science | All men know this; none practise it" University of Cape Town | Lao Tzu - Tao Te Ching Ch.78 As far as I can figure out from TuGboat, these are the fonts required by TeX and LaTeX. An `*' means the font has been generated by MFJOB in emTeX. A `T' means the font is required by TeX and LateX, while a `L' means the font is required by LaTeX. A `+' means the font has *not* been generated by MFJOB. I assume that MFJOB all, MFJOB latex and MFJOB emsy have been run.
