I just compiled Tex 3.0 on a Decstation 3100 (Ultrix 4.0). Everything seems to work fine. The only problem that I have run into is a file that works perfectly on 2.991 but formats in-correctly on 3.0 (Bear with me, its nothing fancy, I am just learning TeX.) Here is the latex document: (well part of it, anyway...) ---begin--- \documentstyle{article} %...title stuff delete... \begin{document} \subsection{BJT} \begin{enumerate} \item The construction of the load lines are shown on the accompanying blowup of the {\em polaroid\/} taken of the transistor curve tracer. The markings were created using pencil, so they are quite hard to distinguish. The $Q$ point was determined using the {\em midpoint biasing\/} technique. $V_{CEQ}$ and $I_{CQ}$ are determined by reading the corresponding $V_{CE}$ and $I_{C}$ value from the curve tracer output. $I_{BQ}$ can be determined by interpolating between the two nearest $I_{B}$ values. \end{enumerate} \end{document} ---end--- It will LaTeX correctly, and create a DVI file with no errors. But printing it out/XDvi-ing reveals that it stops at the first $Q$. Any ideas? The TeX 2.991 version correctly formats the correct document. Respond by E-Mail, no need to clutter the net with a silly problem. THANKS. Bryan D.
