I have a small postscript file that I'm including into a stream of text (i.e., not as a figure, but in the main paper body). It seems that \ITEM's do strange things to the point on the page which the postscript file in included offset from. I've gotten things worked out (the scales and offsets) to work correctly for including the psfile into text. However, when I have the SPECIAL command be the first thing in an \ITEM, the file in included offset from the beginning of the line after the previous \ITEM (curiously, from the far left margin, not the indented ITEMIZE left margin), _not_ offset from the point after the ITEMIZE dot. The SPECIAL was after the \ITEM, so it would seem the "right thing to do" for the file to be offset from after the dot. Has anyone else tried to do anything like this? Bruce
