We're trying to make letterhead for our varous departments here, but I can't find a style or set of macros that is appropriate. All the styles I have (including the one from the \TeXbook) do something wrong if the user changes the point size or puts different amounts of text on the page. The memo style from Los Alamos is about right, but has lots of site dependent things. What I seem to need is a way to position something on a page absolutely, or a way to find out where on the page I am. This would allow me to position the letterhead correctly, or to correct for whatever \LaTeX does. Thanks, -- Dana Jacobsen jacobsd@cs.orst.edu
