[comp.text.tex] question about dvips v 5.47

Hi,
   I wonder if someone could give me some hints in order to:

a) download the Computer Modern fonts into the Postscript Laser Printer 

b) setup emtex + dvips to generate PS output that will use the already loaded
   CM fonts.

I guess that this can be done since in page 12 of the DVIPS manual is written:
" You may find downloading the Computer Modern fonts to be faster than using
the built-in PostScript fonts".
