I have been using Tex on a pc, and have used a vanilla.sty (style file) within the tex file. I have moved over to using Tex on a sequent under DYNIX(R) V3.0.15 . The problem is I want a margin offset of 1.5 inches, and in the Tex manual the command for this is \hoffset=.5in which works on the pc. But on the sequent, allthough when Texing the file, no errors are given, it does not offset the margin. I do not think it is a fault with the Vanilla.sty file as according to the manual it is a primitive command. Could someone give me some ideas on what to do?

Can anyone point me in the direction of printer drivers for TeX for a 24pin Epson LQ compat printer? I need 360dpi drivers (of course). I was previously using DVIPrint in the experimental 'LQ' mode, but it fails to work correctly, and gobbles the text up. I believe there are some available. Also, any Australian TeX users would mind pointing in the direction of a TeX seller, please mail me. --------krooglik@ecr.mu.OZ---- + Alex Krooglik |________________ + Faculty of Chemical Engineering |__________ +_______University of Melbourne________________________|
