I don't remember the name of the show, but I am pretty shure it was not Nova. The interesting thing that they brought out was that if the universe did start with a Big Bang and is still expanding as a result of that, then it will keep expanding and eventually die. This conclusion was based on the estimates of the total amount of matter in the universe. It was concluded that there just is not enough matter to cause the reverse oscillation to occur.
