[comp.text.tex] docstrip - the complete utility?

The question for docstrip.tex reminds me of a question
I wanted to ask for some time:
docstrip.tex is included in the multicol-package - o.k.
But does there exist a complete package of this utility
(documentation, etc.) ?

No, there isn't a doc/docstrip utility package.
