[comp.text.tex] metafont-->mac

wedeck@peanuts.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de (Joerg Wedeck) (05/17/91)

hello,

if have a certain symbol which is described in metafont.
unfortunately, most of the people working here want to use
this symbol on a macintosh with word or draw etc.
is there a possibility to convert the metafont description
to something useable by macintosh-applications ?

thanks

I do not know a one-step process for this. Here is what can be done:
Use Metafont and gftopk to produce a PK font file.
Then use pktor and RMaker to produce a Mac FONT file.
