Hi everybody, I am invloved here in a little TeX Arabization project. We have managed to write the macros that will handle the right- left and left-right problems of mixed Arabic and English text. We are trying now to develop some Arabic fonts to be used (called) from within TeX. My understanding is that Metafont is the primary, if not the only, font editor (generator) for TeX. My question is: Where can I get Metafont? Is there a public domain implementation? If so, where and how can I get it? If it is available also as a commercial package, what is the name and address of the company? Also, is there any other font editor for TeX? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please send a copy of your reply to me directly, as I am not currently able to subscribe to this net, due to quota problems.
