I tried to setup emTeX to print on a Canon BJ130 bubble jet printer which claims to be compatible with IBM proprinter XL. There are six IBM proprinter .dot files in emTeX package while only ibm4201 and ibm4202 are compatible with Proprinter XL. These two .dot files drive BJ130 well except they print in 216dpi mode which leads to strange looking and dissappointing resolution. Unpacking IBM4201.DOT, I found the line GRAPH_MODE=ESC 'Z LH+0 set the printer to 216dpi mode. According to BJ130 manual and MAKEDOT.DOC, GRAPH_MODE=FS 'B 'C 0 0 LH+0 / GRAPH_MODE=FS 'B 'C 4 4 LH+0 will set the printer to 180/360dpi, but it never worked for me. Any help will be appreciated.
