I have added Joachim Schrod's <xitijsch@ddathd21.bitnet> EXAMPLE.STY file
to the FILESERV STYle archives, as well as Max Hailperin's
<max@nic.gac.edu> CHAPPG.STY from the latest TeXMaG.
Briefly, EXAMPLE.STY provides an {example} environment in LaTeX where you
get LaTeX output side-by-side with the LaTeX input which created it.
CHAPPG.STY provides the output of \thepage as \thechapter-\thepage (such as
5-4 for page 4 of chapter 5) and resets the page counter to 1 whenever a
new chapter is started.
To retrieve either of these files, include the command:
SENDME STY.EXAMPLE
and/or
SENDME STY.CHAPPG
in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET or to
FILESERV@Niord.SHSU.edu (yes, the filename syntax is reversed on FILESERV).
Thanks to Joachim for his efforts to document his quite handy file then
allowing it to be distributed and to Max for providing the nice feature in
pagination.
