[comp.text.tex] Many Thanks to those who offered help

Yesterday I posted a plea for help with my problem using 11pt
bookstyle. It was doing what I thought was some strange spacing
with paragraph spacing. I'll sumarise the general concensus and
tell you what I did.
The general concensus was that there was nothing wrong at all.
The problem was in my approach. By default, LaTeX uses a flush
bottom in book style and my page break was ending the page before
it should. The spacing between pars was altered to make up the
difference.
There were two solutions given. One was to put a \raggedbottom
in the preamble. The other solution was to put a \vfill before
the \pagebreak. I assumed that the two would work interchangably,
so I opted for \vfill. I may change my mind as the document grows.
The long and short is Thanks to those who answered. I really
appreciate it.
