[comp.text.tex] cyrillic fonts on NeXT

geoff@circus.camex.com (Geoffrey Knauth) (05/29/91)

Thanks to Jacob Gore, Jay Sekora, Joe Kaiping, and Tom Rokicki for
answering numerous questions. The following from Joe got me moving
forward, so that now I can try the others' advice. [More later.]

If you have a .mf file the command:
      virmf \&plain "\mode=nexthi;\mag=1;\input cmcyr10.mf"
should create a .tfm and a .gf file for you.

It did. I got:

   Font metrics written on cmcyr10.tfm.
Output written on cmcur10.400gf (100 characters, 14160 bytes).
