[comp.text.tex] TeX and TUG News available from FILESERV

bed_gdg@NIORD.SHSU.EDU ("George D. Greenwade") (06/06/91)

Ron Whitney <RFW@VAX01.AMS.COM> kindly passed along the files for the "TeX
and TUG News" prototype issue and the TUGNEWS.STY file for installation on
FILESERV. His provision (and a few of your requests that we make it
available) enables us to offer it for your access. Don Hosek announced
this availability at YMIR last week (and I thank him for that post). As
usual, since this is a large transfer, our files are split for mailing
purposes. The filename syntax we have installed was provided by TUG.

                                 -------
The TeXTUGN package includes the input files for the "TeX and TUG News"
produced by the TeX Users Group (TUG). TeXTUGN is produced with the
standard LaTeX distribution, and is to be as portable a document as
possible. This is done on purpose, in order to facilitate electronic
distribution of the source file.

Presently, only the prototype issue (Vol. 0, No. 0, TeXTUGN.000) resides in
this package.

The prototype issue is distributed in four parts which need to be
concatenated upon receipt. A special style file is used in producing the
final output. To retrieve the 4 part distribution of the prototype
TeXTUGN and the style file used, please include the commands:
SENDME TeXTUGN.000*
SENDME STY.TUGNEWS
in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET.
