I will be visiting Washington D.C. this summer and I would like to visit any interesting sites near this area. I saw Goddard Spaceflight Center on the map, and the city of Langley (but no little box for a NASA center). I am also interested in the Patuxent Naval Air Test Center, but I don't know if it's open to visitors or if there's anything to see there. Any other suggestions? Langley, VA is the home of the CIA, not Langley Research Center. Langley Research Center is in Hampton, VA (near Norfolk and Newport News). The Research Center is co-located with Langley Air Force Base, which is easier to find on most maps.
