Hello, A while back, I tried creating the Oregon TeX Primer on our VAX cluster. Well I couldn't get it to work, and posted a question here. Thanks for all the replies! Turns out that we still had TeX version 2.0.0! Anyway, I was able to get more disk quota, and so I installed the DECUS version of TeX 3.1. That solved all of my out of memory problems. However, I now am having a problem with DVIPS. When I try to create Appendix G of the Primer, I get several error messages, which are included below. When DECUS TeX is first installed, the startups define DVIPS both in the CLD and as a foreign command. I ended up deleting the line that declared the foreign command, so DVIPS gets installed in the command tables. All of the Primer files are in one directory, so I'm confused as to why DVIPS can't find them. I have DVIPS documentation from my version at home and it describes using voffset, hoffset, etc, so I don't know why those don't work either... Any thoughts from anybody would be appreciated.
