[comp.text.tex] PKtoSFP update

bed_gdg@SHSU.BITNET ("George D. Greenwade") (06/19/91)

Just received a note from Norman Walsh <NORM@IONAACAD.BITNET> about
PKtoSFP which needs to be passed along:

------------------------------update message-----------------------------
Hello World,
I'm afraid that a bug has been found in PKtoSFP. By the time that you
read this, a new version will be available from FILESERV@SHSU. Please
get the new version! The new version is version 1.2. The old version
(ver 1.1) will chop the descenders off of some fonts. I appologize for
not catching this one before it went out the door. If anyone would
like more info about the exact nature of the problem, just drop me a
note and I'll be happy to explain.
                                             Regards,
                                               norm
P.S. This update effects PKtoSFP *only*. The versions of SFPtoPK and
MergeSFP have not been updated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have already retrieved the PKtoSFP file from FILESERV and would like
the new version, please include the command:
SENDME SPFONTWARE.PKtoSFP_ZIP
in the body of a mail message to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET and only that file
will be sent. If you want the entire set of three files, the FILESERV
command SENDME SPFONTWARE will get the new version of PKtoSFP, as well as
the existing versions of MergeSFP and SFPtoPK.

Regards, George
