Reposted-by: emv@math.lsa.umich.edu (Edward Vielmetti) What's the cheapest SCSI SyQuest drive anyone has seen for the 1040ST? Is it possible to by a device to go from Atari DMA <--> SCSI and use one of the SyQuest drives advertised in MacWeek? They go for about $650-700 (US). I think Atari DMA <--> SCSI goes for about $90 (us). I realize that Mac SCSI is not the same as the SCSI standard, does this matter for this application? Would I be able to use it with Spectre GCR, SuperCharger, etc...? A SyQuest really seems the way to go for using all of these emulators, especially when I see how many hassles people are having when they try to set up several different partitions on their hard drive. I'd like to have a seperate 44MB cartridge for each environment. Cartridges are only around $80 each. I will summarize and post if people email me at jfbruno@rodan.acs.syr.edu Thanks, ---jb
