We have been having some SCSI timeouts on our systems, which leaves the SCSI disks useless until a reboot of the system. Here are the messages which go to the log file: vmunix: sd2: sdtimer: I/O request timeout vmunix: last phase = 0x85 (Disconnect MSG) vmunix: csr=0x160f bcr= 0 tcr= 0x4 vmunix: cbsr= 0x0 (BUS FREE) cdr= 0x0 mr= 0x0 bsr=0x10 I have seen these types of messages on 2 types of systems, a Sun 3/260 running SunOs 4.0.3 and a Sun 4/260 running SunOs 4.0.3. Any suggestions, patches or bug ids will be appreciated. Thanks, Dean Grover Hughes Aircraft Co. grover@sed170.hac.com or adgrover@hac2arpa.hac.com
