I just got a Quantum ProDrive 170S yesterday. The number of physical
blocks is 329133 or about 160Mb. Heck, I'm not complaining...it's one
QUICK drive, even connected to a Macintosh (Read: 350Kbytes/sec on
Plus, 1000Kbytes/sec on Mac II; writes about 15% slower).

The drive came in an attractive case with power supply, fan, external
SCSI ID selector, 50-pin Centronics connectors, cable, Mac formatting
software, generic manual for $999 (internals go for $899, but I've
seen them for $850 at ClubMac 714-768-1490, but APS will probably
match pricing). We purchased through Alliance Peripheral Systems
(APS) at 800-233-7550. We have also purchased a Wren V (600Mb) from
them; very pleased with services rendered. Tell Paul I sent ya. APS
carries 40, 80, 105, and 170 Quantums, most all CDC/Imprimus Wrens;
ClubMac carries same Quantums, Connor, and Maxtor.
