I have two Fujitsu M2322K disk drives. I'd like to use them on a 386 PC running some variety of UNIX. I'd like to configure the 386 system to use SCSI controllers, but I really want to use the disks I already have. Is there a way to do this? I understand Adaptek used to sell a SCSI to SMD controller but has discontinued it. Should I just look for a PC-AT bus SMD drive controller? If so, where might I find one of those? I also have a couple of Cipher Quarterback tape drives (Model F-420-90) that I'd like to use, but I have no controller for them either. I can afford to buy a decent computer if I can use the peripherals I already have. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks. -Larry Meehan lwm@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu
