I have a Wren IV drive which is flaky. I would like to talk to someone at Imprimis. The drive has a label which says "Imprimis Technology Inc., Oklahoma City, OK", so I dial information to get the phone number, and the operator says there's no such listing. Right. So next I go to the Thomas Register and look up Imprimis, which is listed as being in Minnetonka, MN. I call the phone number and get a "call cannot be completed as dialed" response. What have we got here, some fly-by-night operation? :-). Does anyone have the number for customer support at Imprimis? (On the subject of MB = 1000*1000 vs. 1024*1024, I like the adds which claim drives with, e.g., "320mb" capacity. Who wants a disk with only 320 millibits? Maybe it's for the 16 MS (megaseconds) access times?) -- Kenton C. Phillips Computer Systems Manager MIT Center for Space Research kenton@space.mit.edu
