I am jumping head first into programming a SCSI device controller. My question to you all is this: From the limited documentation that I have been able to find, I have discovered that there is a set of standard transaction requests used by SCSI devices. I assume that a programmer then has to build a sequence of these transaction codes in order to perform such functions as 'fread' and 'fwrite' in C. Could someone tell me first if these assumptions are correct and if so, where could I find an example of the sequence to build one the afore mentioned C functions. If my assumptions are incorrect, could you please set me straight. Any reference material that anyone could suggest would be greatly appreciated also!! Thanks in advance. -- Jeffrey T.
