There are no electrical reasons why one couldn't have 7 targets on the
SCSI bus.  The only issue I can see (not really an issue) is having a
system that can keep all the devices busy.  We regularly test with 7
targets in our labs and don't see any problems.  The only things I have
run into, is mixing some manufacturers with others.  Some targets have
thier own ideas about arbitration for the bus.  This can cause some grief.
But if your careful about the manufacturer you choose, there should be
no problem.
