Can somebody supply me with the international phone & fax numbers of Quantum ? On the weekend , in a great incident of incompetence , I plugged a Adaptec ACB 4000 into my SCSI bus , backwards. The ACB4000 , and the computers host adapter are ok , and still working. The Q280 in the middle of the cable is not talking to the world any more. The drive blew its term-power fuse ,and its protecting diode, but as far as im aware the drive should work with out these. The unit still powers up , and performs power-on diagnostics but will not respond on ANY scsi id. It does however repond to a SCSI bus reset. The drive was purchased directly from the US several owners back down the chain, thus I think ill have to go to Quantum direct for parts. In partcular Im after a new logic board for the drive.
