I'm trying to identify some equipment that I picked up as salvage from a local company.. Does anyone have specifics on: Adaptec ACB4000 Adapter Micropolis 1304 Hard Disk. I have the physical dimensions of the 1304, but need to know if its SCSI or ST506. What about the ACB4000? SCSI? ST506? Any info appreciated. Thanks! -Jeff

: Adaptec ACB4000 Adapter
The ACB-4000 is a SCSI to ST-506 controller. You can hook up to
two soft sectored ST-506 drives as one SCSI device. It , in conjunction
with the ACB-4010 hard sectored version, has been superceeded by the
ACB-4000A card.
: Micropolis 1304 Hard Disk.
If the 1304 has two card edge connectors on the back (one that
has ten fingers/side and one with seventeen fingers/side), it's an
ST-506 drive. That would be what you would have hooked to the Adaptec to
create a SCSI drive.
:Any info appreciated. Thanks!
