[comp.periphs.scsi] FAQ on jumpers for Seagate "702" drive

pauls@inco.UUCP (Paul Stygar) (12/11/90)

I'm having an anxiety attack concerning two jumpers on the
Seagate/Imprimis/CDC 98141-702 (Wren V) drive. From left-to-right,
the jumpers are: Parity, Motor, SCSI ID (3 jumpers), and the last 2.

What is the correct way to set these last two jumpers for a drive
with terminators installed? ... for a drive without terminators?

Has anyone had any problems using this drive with an Adaptec 1542 controller?

I'd rather RTFM but don't have it. The Seagate 800 hotline has been
relatively time-consuming and unrewarding on this question.

Thanks in advance for any info. Email preferred.
