Has anyone ever installed the Western Digital 7000 Fasst card in the Compaq SystemPro 486/33 ?.Every time I put the card in the computer it locks up after displaying the rom identification message of the WD7000 card (just before the hard drive is supposed to boot).I've tried IRQ 15,12,9,5 and DMA 6,5 as well as setting the rom address to C800,D000,DA00,CE00.I think their is a timing problem with the Compaq EISA bus and the WD7000 CARD.I seemed to recall putting the same card in a COMPAQ SystemPro 386/33 with no problems and the card does work fine in an Everex 386/33 so the card is not defective.
