Everything you ever wanted to know about the meaning of life can be
summed up by finding the question that fits the answer "42". (See
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.)

It's simple. You want to know what life is? Life is...
...a cereal by Quaker Oats.

That particular philosophy has made me what I am today. Deranged.

Look, we're all educated enough to get this up to a higher level
of abstraction, so I maintain that life is....

                          ...a burnt weenie sandwich.

That particular philosophy has made me what I am today. Obnoxious.

Mr. Grimmis (the Principal), exasperatedly to Arthur (the kid with a worse

kds@intelca.UUCP (01/25/84)

oh yes, there was a Procol Harem thingy, on the second side of the
album "Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra" called
"In Held Twas I" in which the story of a pilgrim is told, where he
attempts to gain an audience with the Dali Lama, finally gets it,
asks the meaning of life, and the Dali Lama replies, "Well my son,
life is just a <I COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND THIS WORD>, isn't it?"
