[comp.periphs.scsi] Mysterious Toshiba Drive

eru@tnvsu1.tele.nokia.fi (Erkki Ruohtula) (01/15/91)

A friend of mine bought a Toshiba 150 MB SCSI hard disk
at a surplus shop but can't get a copy of its manual:
nobody admits having imported exactly that type of HD to
Finland. He'd be grateful if someone coud tell him the
functions of the DIP switches on the drive and if any
of the numerous jumpers have any practical significance.

The type of the drive is

	Toshiba MK 156FB
	MKM0376 A ZZ08

PCB revisions are

	PCB-A:E1 B:C0

The drive has been assembled after March 1990 and the
DIPs in question are

	S1 (1-6)
	S2 (1-4)

If Toshiba has made any significant extensions to the
standard SCSI software interface on the drive please
let us know. Thanks in advance.
