We have a 600MByte hard drive that is overfull mostly with rarely used files. We also have a WANGDAT DAT. I would appreciate any thoughts on using the DAT as a resting place for many of the disk files, with only a pointer residing on the disk and the file being restored only if a user attempts to access it. If this could be done in a method transparent to the user other than a relatively short wait while the file is being restored it would be great. Would this be possible or is the DAT too slow to be used in this manner? Kevin Knappmiller Department of Mechanical Engineering Colorado State University Fort Collins, CO 80523
