I am trying to assist a friend in setting up a home network consisting of a 386, Mac and NeXT. The 386 is to serve as the print server, SLIP to the rest of the internet and the backup device. We are running ESIX on it and are generally pleased with it. However, we can not discover how to tell ESIX about the 150MB tape drive attached (externally) to the AHA 1542 SCSI controller. The device works with the Adaptec software for DOS. We don't know whether to call ESIX, Adaptec or on you the friendly network for assistance. My experience is that some friendly person out there in netland has already done this trick and would be willing to share information on installation parameters and usage scripts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
