I am curious as to what is the level of atomicity guaranteed by SCSI devices (or typical SCSI devices)? Is this different from the level of atomicity provided by other interfaces ? What is the level of atomicity that applications (databases etc.) rely upon ? ravi ravi@iag.hp.com
