[comp.periphs.scsi] OS/2 Scsi Tape Driver

huq@ocsmd.ocs.com (Ashraful Huq) (03/01/91)

I am looking for OS/2 drivers that will let me access an 8MM
Exabyte tape drive from my program. I want to read and write
files to and from the 8MM tape drive. I have an IBM SCSI and
also an Adaptec 1640 SCSI adapter to drive the tape drive.

I have looked around but it looks like the only things that
are available are backup programs like SYTOS. They do not have
any doucmented API's that will allow you to control your tape
	drive from the program directly.

Doesn't msoft use something a CAM-like thing called LADDR to do this?
Sorry I can't be more specific but looking through the docs for LADDR
may provide the info that you need.
