I have bought a Seagate ST4702N 613MB WREN disk for a SUN Sparcstation1+. It was delivered with a box with Power supply and all I had to do, or so I hoped, was to read the installation paper and assemble the thing. However, it turned out to be not so easy. In the installation paper there's a picture on how to select SCSI drive ID on the Seagate by putting jumpers on pin pairs. Only that on the picture there's 8 pairs of pins and on my disk there's only 7, and yes I've got the right installation paper (at least it claims to be). Has anyone else experienced this problem? -- E-mail:Martin.Wendel@UDAC.UU.SE ; Snail-Mail: UDAC Domainmaster@UU.SE Martin Wendel Postmaster@UDAC.UU.SE Box 2103 Tel: 018 - 18 77 80 S-750 02 Uppsala

Normally #0 I expect. All you have to do is pick a number for the drive. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Mark Matthewson Long distance runners can keep going longer t891368@minyos.xx.rmit.oz.au Is your job secure? mark@albert.ai.mit.edu Do you have the code to prove it?
