The 1542B is available as a stand alone adapter or bundled with all the ASPI
software (DOS, Novell..., except for Sy-Tos).  It is called the SCSI Master
Kit.  The primary distributors are Arrow, Anthem, Wyle, and Hamilton-Avnet.
