I'm trying to hook up a Maxtor 8760S disk drive on a Mips RC3230 that previously was on another unix box. I would like to find out what all the jumpers mean on the drive from someone out on the net, since I don't have a manual for it and I am trying to locate a copy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! The jumpers that I see on the drive are as follows. J 1 = SCSI Connector J 2 = J 6 = JP 1 = IN JP 2 = IN JP 3 = IN E19 = pin 1/2 IN (TXD) ? TXD RXD JP8 = IN JP 9 = IN JP13 = pins 1/2 IN (DSL) ? JP14 = IN 4 pin jumper by JP14 = pins 2/3 IN 3 pin jumper by JP14 = pins 2/3 IN JP18 = JP32 = IN E7 = OUT E8 = OUT E6 = OUT E5 = OUT JP33 = IN JP34 = OUT JP35 = OUT JP36 = OUT JP37 = OUT JP38 = OUT JP39 = IN JP40 = IN JP41 = IN -- MM MM I PPPPP SSSSS Jim Bergman MIPS Computer Systems,Inc.
